About the role

The main responsibility of the Channels Marketing Manager FGFD (Fixed Gas and Flame Detection) & Fire is to support business growth by enabling EMEA Channel Partners, execute the Marketing strategy and foster long-term strategic relationships.

By working collaboratively with our distribution partners and in strong conjunction with Channels Account Managers and Field Sales, the Channels Marketing Manager will develop cross-promotional, multi-channel Marketing programs to support the profitable growth and collaboration of the Channel Partners in the most effective way.

This position will create digital marketing content and tools and will coordinate training efforts that enable our channel partners to seamlessly promote our products and solutions for all product launches, promotions, and e-commerce applications.

The Marketing Manager as a go-to person must understand Channel Partner needs, structure and business model to create win-win partnerships.

Responsibilities

Drive Channel Partners enablement and profitable growth by implementing Marketing Programs and Tools:

  • Identify and select opportunities to develop joint marketing plans which support our Channel Partners in promoting our products, services and solutions.
  • Support Channel Managers to get Channels’ commitment on sales targets and Sales & Marketing plans to proactively promote our products.
  • Advice Channel Partners on product part number selection focusing on profitable SKUs and new products to ensure their effective commercialization.
  • Execute agreed Channel Partner Marketing plans within the allocated Marketing budget, work with MarComs teams on digital campaigns and in-person event content as well as ensure the timely release of the necessary marketing tools and assets, such as website updates, social media posts etc.
  • Support special Revenue Projects & Lead Gen Programs with Channel Partner focus
  • Facilitate the process between Channel Partners and our company as regards lead collection and verification
  • Ensure Channels Sales team is informed on all Marketing assets to act as force multipliers
  • Ensure the proper training plans are in place for each new product launch (in coordination with the respective Segment Marketers and Sales) and support virtual training sessions set-up
  • Report on Channel Partner campaign success and analyze performance metrics.
  • Monitor competitive Channel Partner activities through website and communication platform audits
  • Identify new methods to increase channel partner engagement and drive new streams of revenue

Support Marketing and Sales strategy and ensure timely execution of demand generation activities

  • Channel Partner communication: coordinate monthly author alignment and execute the newsletters, ensuring regular updates of the contacts list
  • Support the Customer Marketing team with some overarching tasks like website enhancements, processes & rules for company communications, Channel Partner webinars, announcements etc.
  • Support Inventory & Obsolescence Reduction Programs coordinating Destocking Programs and processes for Internal Sales and Channel Partners

Qualifications

Experience (required)

  • Minimum of 3 years of Marketing experience ideally gained in B2B environment.
  • Minimum of 3 years of business experience in the EMEA market
  • High-energy, self-driven attitude and results-oriented
  • Exemplary value-based communication (written, oral, interpersonal)
  • Organizational, strategic thinking and project management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to understand Channel Partner needs, to translate them into differentiated value-selling solutions and to communicate them throughout the organization.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and cross-functional environment
  • Languages: fluent English and German (proficiency). Any other language is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PPT etc.)

Experience (preferred)

  • Hands on experience with digital Marketing, SEO/SEM and CRM software such as Salesforce.com
  • In-depth understanding of online marketing tools and social media platforms
  • Brand management
  • SAP ECC

Education (required)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration
  • Fluent in English
  • Proficient in German

Education (preferred)

  • Master’s Degree or MBA
  • Additional European language skills in addition to English and German
