Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled French / German Translator & Localization Specialist to support Jetpac's expansion into new international markets. This role is crucial for our global growth strategy, requiring expertise in both translation and cultural adaptation to ensure our content resonates with local audiences. This role will be full-time.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate and localize content for landing pages, blog posts, marketing materials, and other digital assets from English to French and German
• Adapt content to reflect cultural nuances and local market preferences
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and design teams to ensure consistent brand messaging across all localized materials
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders while managing tight turnaround times and working effectively under pressure
• Review and edit existing translated content for accuracy and cultural appropriateness
• Maintain translation consistency through the use of style guides and glossaries
• Conduct market research to understand local terminology and industry-specific language
• Support the creation of multilingual SEO-optimized content
• Provide cultural insights and recommendations for market-specific campaigns

Requirements

• Native or near-native proficiency (CEFR C1 and above) in French and German, with excellent English skills
• Relevant Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of professional translation and localization experience
• Strong understanding of SEO principles and multilingual content optimization
• Knowledge of marketing, UI/UX, and digital content best practices
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain quality under tight deadlines
• Strong research skills and cultural awareness
• Experience in the travel, telco, or startup industries is preferred
