Your tasks

• As a Field Service Engineer or Technician, you are responsible for the Installation of, and commissioning or troubleshooting on Krones’ machines at customer site, in either Belgium or France (depending on your place of residence)
• After intensive training in France / Belgium (on the job) and in Germany (Krones Academy), during which you will gain insight into our machine park and the different types of installations, you will be part of a team that is responsible for both the daily repair, maintenance and overhaul of individual machines as well as for the installation of new equipment on our customers' production lines
• You carry out autonomously maintenance and repair works but also do troubleshooting and fault correction on the installations of our processing, filling, packaging machines, etc.
• You document rigorously all actions taken, give technical recommendations or operator training on how to work the System
• At all times, you act as a Krones ambassador and excel by your knowledge as well as attitude

Your profile

• As a Field Service Engineer or Technician you hold a degree in Industrial Sciences, Electricity, Mechanics, Electronics, Automation or Electromechanics or you have equivalent experience and the necessary certificates
• Relevant technical maintenance experience in an industrial, high speed and high-volume environment gives your candidacy an extra Edge
• You have a healthy dose of technical curiosity, and you look forward to discovering the fascinating world of industrial maintenance of our production lines with a market leader within its niche
• You are a well-organized problem-solver and an efficient communicator. You are able to critically look at customers’ request in order to offer the right solution in a professional and customer-oriented way
• You are resilient, are strong in handling difficult situations in a calm and professional manner
• You are a team player but at the same capable of working autonomously
• You are open to work on different sites, which means that staying overnight during the week and sometimes even the weekends as well as driving a lot, are no problem for you
• You continuously try to stay on top of the developments in your field of expertise and find joy in sharing your knowledge and insights with colleagues and Clients
• You speak fluently French and have conversational level in English. Knowledge of German would be a strong plus
