Mechanical / Plant Engineer (m/f/d) as Project Manager for Large-Scale Projects

To further strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced and dedicated professional to lead and manage international large-scale projects in the field of machinery and plant engineering. In this key role, you will oversee highly complex projects from the planning phase to successful implementation, making a significant contribution to the expansion of our global operations.

For our location in Sarreguemines – optionally also remotely – we are looking for a Project Manager (m/f/d) for large-scale plant engineering projects.
We offer a permanent full-time position (40 hours/week) and look forward to welcoming you to our team as soon as possible.

• Independent management and execution of international orders in the field of individual machines and processing plants.
• Responsibility for schedule, quality, and cost control, as well as professional claim management, including risk assessment.
• Coordination of external service providers and involved departments, including organizational leadership of interdisciplinary teams.
• Confident negotiation with customers and suppliers, coupled with effective troubleshooting.
• Continuous optimization of project workflows through the development and implementation of guidelines to enhance efficiency, digitalization, and sustainability.
• Strategic and goal-oriented customer management with a focus on building long-term and positive business relationships.

• Completed technical education with further qualification as a technician or a degree in engineering, specializing in mechanical and plant engineering, civil engineering, or construction.
• Several years of professional experience in a comparable role
• Deep expertise in modern project management methods, with a structured and goal-oriented approach.
• Openness to innovation and a quick grasp of complex interrelations.
• High level of creativity, initiative, and assertiveness in driving projects forward.
• Excellent communication skills and strong team spirit, ensuring effective collaboration.
• Willingness to travel extensively, both domestically and internationally.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (e.g., ProAlpha), with expertise in contract law and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Fluency in French (primary working language) and fluency in English is required; proficiency in German would be an asset
