Technician Application Engineer for Lithium Batteries (m/f/d)

Triathlon France, a subsidiary of the Triathlon Group, is looking for a Technician Application Engineer for Lithium Batteries (m/f/d) based in Lille, France. As a key contact, you will serve as the technical liaison between our sales teams and customers. You will play a crucial role in the further development of our lithium traction battery offerings and support our customers in development and integration of new solutions.

Your Tasks

• Providing technical expertise to support the sales teams throughout the sales process, focusing on lithium batteries and their applications
• Advising and assisting customers by explaining the performance, benefits, and features of Triathlon lithium batteries
• Analyzing technical requirements and developing customized technical solutions for our customers in collaboration with internal departments (R&D, production, customer service)
• Conducting demonstrations and training sessions for customers and partners on lithium technologies
• Assisting in the creation of technical sales proposals to ensure their technical consistency and alignment with customer requirements
• Monitoring technological market trends to stay informed about the latest developments and innovations in the field of industrial lithium batteries

Your Profile

• At least 5 years of experience in technical support or engineering within the field of lithium batteries or similar technologies
• Comprehensive knowledge of lithium-ion technologies (NMC & LFP) and battery management systems (BMS)
• Experience in traction applications (e.g., forklifts, aerial work platforms, pallet trucks, aviation industry) is advantageous
• Strong market knowledge and experience with key industry players, particularly manufacturers and dealers of material handling equipment
• Excellent customer and business orientation with the ability to clearly and persuasively communicate technical concepts
• Independent, structured, and team-oriented working style, with a strong affinity for knowledge transfer

• French: required for work
• English: Fluent and technically proficient
• German: is advantageous for communication with the corporate group and international suppliers)
